Treatment of muslim patients in Europe

Treatment of muslim patients in Europe

The purpose of the lecture is to help doctors and nursing staff to understand Muslim patients, to avoid offending their religious beliefs and to avoid legal disputes with the medical staff.
Some customs and practices are strict and many Muslims follow them all of their lives. A positive approach of the medical staff and a relationship built on mutual trust and tolerance are key factors while providing medical care.
